1. Mowing at Kingman Airport – Clyde Cessna Field
2. City Hall Ceiling Repair
3. Airport Terminal Stabilization

City of Kingman Public Works Laborer: The City of Kingman Kansas is currently accepting applications for the position of Public Works Laborer. Job duties include performing a variety of manual labor tasks in the construction and maintenance of streets; water lines; sewer lines; parks and other municipal buildings or grounds; and operating heavy equipment.
A high school diploma or GED and a valid Kansas Driver’s License (with ability to obtain CDL after hired) is required. There will be on call time to cover so occasional nights and weekends will be required. Must be able to do manual labor and work in inclement weather. This is an entry level position.

With a new year, comes new employees! Help us welcome Shae Brooks, Andrew Knudsen, and Kyle Mandeville! Andrew and Kyle are new police officers who started today. Shae is the new Fire Chief and started her duties yesterday. We would like to thank outgoing Fire Chief, Steve Drosselmeyer, for his service and dedication to the citizens of Kingman over the past decades!


Proclamation of the Kingman City Commission whereas, hereby proclaims January 3, 2025, as Tom Archer Day.
On January 1, 2025, after thirty-nine years of service with the City of Kingman, Tom Archer will enter retirement. A retirement reception will be held for him on January 3, 2025, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at City Hall.
We hope you can join us in honoring and attending his retirement reception.


Commissioner Adrian Harrel presented Aric and Brianna Hook with the Kingman Kudos Award at the December 23rd Commission Meeting for their contributions to the community. Currently, they are working on renovations downtown to add more living spaces as well as operate multiple businesses downtown.


There is still time to donate to those in need this holiday season! We still have several angels available on our tree to support those in the community in need of utility payment relief. We will be accepting donations until 5:30p on December 31st! Stop in and see us if you wish to donate or have questions!

During the Kingman city commission meeting on December 12th, Jon Wollen was elected mayor with Tracy Winsor serving as vice mayor. Both were officially sworn into office by City Clerk Zach Bieghler.
The newly elected Mayor, Jon Wollen, expresses his enthusiasm for the upcoming developments in Kingman.


Utility Angel Tree Update: So far, we have had 18 angels submitted to our new holiday program. As of this morning, we have had $2,372.98 donated to angel accounts. That is incredible! We still have angels on the tree looking for assistance.

A great time was had by all at the Park Board's Christmas Bingo event on Saturday. This event took place at The Hangar on December 7th.
