The city is aware of a damaged gas line at Whetzel & Eureka and are working with Kansas Gas to repair the line. You may smell natural gas in the area. We ask that people avoid the area until repairs are made. Thank you.

An after hours drop box has been placed outside of City Hall for utility payments. The box will be checked during normal business hours and we ask that customers please include a payment stub with your payments if possible and we ask for check or money order payments only in the drop box.

Have you seen a property in the city that you would like to see cleaned up or feel that a property may be violating city ordinance? Now you can report the property directly to our city code enforcement officer.

From the app, select more, then select "Report a Property." From the website, scroll down and click the "Report a Property" button. Simply select the property, tell us what the complaint is, and provide your information. The code enforcement officer will address the complaints as soon as he can. Note: You may or may not receive follow-up from the code enforcement officer.
