Part-Time EMS Staff:  Kingman EMS is currently accepting applications for part-time EMTs, AEMTs, and paramedics. Kingman EMS is a rural EMS agency that responds to approximately 825-850 calls per year in a 720sq mile area of Kingman County. Our providers work under progressive protocols that are designed to allow our providers to care for the sick an injured in remote areas with prolonged transport times. The department has a newly remodeled station complete with full living quarters that includes kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, and a large training room.

Candidates living within a 60-mile radius of Kingman will be considered. Applicants will need to provide at the minimum of 20 hours per month of availability. The department schedules part-time providers as needed to cover full-time openings, sick leave, vacation leave, and special assignments. Part-time providers are scheduled based on availability and department needs, so hours may vary.

For further questions about our part-time positions, please contact Director Zach Bieghler at zbieghler@kingmanems.com.  To apply, please visit the City of Kingman website at https://www.cityofkingman.com/government/jobs/.  The City of Kingman is an equal opportunity employer.

Swimming Pool Lifeguard:  The City of Kingman is seeking candidates for the position of lifeguard and assistant pool manager for the 2021 swimming pool season.  Minimum qualifications require candidates to have the requisite lifeguard certifications prior to the start of the summer season.  The City of Kingman is an equal opportunity employer.  Applications are available at City Hall or online at www.cityofkingman.com/government/jobs.  Applications will be taken until positions are filled.

Volunteer Firefighters:  The City of Kingman is looking for energetic and eager members for its volunteer fire department.  The fire department provides Kingman and some of the surrounding townships with essential fire protection.  Members of the fire department are part-time City employees who are paid a small stipend for training meeting attendance and fire call responses.  Training meetings are held on Wednesday evenings during the month.  Personal protective equipment is provided to firefighters.  The time commitment is dependent upon the number of calls received.  While this is a volunteer service, it is very helpful if members respond to as many calls as possible when they are in the area.  Any person interested in applying for the fire department should complete an employment application that is available at City Hall or online at www.cityofkingman.com/government/jobs.  The City of Kingman is an equal opportunity employer.
