City of Kingman Part-Time Transportation Driver: This is a part-time position with no set days or hours. This position will fill-in for special events or on days when the regular drivers are sick or on vacation. The driver will transport public passengers to requested destinations within the City limits on the City’s general public transportation.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must also have a current Kansas driver’s license with a good driving record and pass DOT physical requirements. Periodic alcohol and drug testing will be performed.

City of Kingman Public Works Laborer: The City of Kingman Kansas is currently accepting applications for the position of Public Works Laborer. Job duties include performing a variety of manual labor tasks in the construction and maintenance of streets; water lines; sewer lines; parks and other municipal buildings or grounds; and operating heavy equipment.

City of Kingman Police Officer: The City of Kingman is seeking candidates for a vacancy in its Police Department. The City has a force of seven (7) officers and patrols 24/7 within the City.
Minimum qualifications require candidates to be a Kansas resident, be 21 years of age at time of appointment, possess a valid Kansas driver’s license, have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and be a U.S. citizen. The preferred candidate will have full-time law enforcement experience, be currently certified, and be currently employed as a full-time police officer in Kansas. Candidates without experience will also be accepted for this position, but successful completion of certification education paid by the City will be required to maintain employment.
The successful candidate must successfully complete and pass several pre-employment tests, including: a drug test, a physical examination, psychological testing, and a background investigation. The successful candidate will also have no felony or non-traffic misdemeanor convictions and no serious traffic convictions.
