THE PARK BOARD ACTS AS AN ADVISORY BOARD TO THE CITY COMMISSION CONCERNING IMPROVEMENTS IN THE PARK SYSTEM.
PROJECTS: The Park Board is currently working on developing a Rails-to-Trails path on the east side of Main Street along the area where the old railbed exists. The city obtained the land through the Rails-to-Trails Program some time ago, and plans are in the works to actually utilize the area.
